Paramount Pictures Also Supports Blu-Ray Format

On October 2 Paramount Pictures announced it will back the Blu-ray DVD camp, with the first movies compatible with the format expected to be launched in the spring of 2006. In November 2004, Paramount already stated that it would support the HD DVD format, making it likely the company will now release movies for both the HD DVD and the Blue-ray format.
